How to use the Pixelsnap Charger
Compatibility
- Pixel 10 phones, which include Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold
- Any Qi2 certified device
Tip: It isn’t recommended to use the charger with previous Pixel phones. Earlier Pixel models support the Qi1.x wireless charging standard and lack the magnetic alignment feature of Qi2, which may result in inconsistent or no charging.

Pixelsnap Charger can wirelessly charge:
- Pixel 10 Pro XL at up to 25W.
- For 25W wireless charging on Pixel 10 Pro XL, we recommend a 35W or higher USB-C power adapter like the Google 45W USB-C Power Charger (sold separately).
- Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold at up to 15W.
- For 15W wireless charging on Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, we recommend a 20W or higher USB-C power adapter like the Google 45W USB-C Power Charger (sold separately).
- Any certified device at up to 15W.

When the charger is properly attached to your phone, you'll find a visual confirmation that charging has begun. This is typically shown by a charging animation on the screen. The battery icon changes to a charging state, usually with a lightning bolt symbol.
Set up the Pixelsnap Charger
- Connect the USB-C connector of the Pixelsnap Charger to your compatible USB-C power adapter.
- Snap your Pixelsnap charger to the back of your compatible Pixel phone or certified Qi2 device.
- Make sure that the Pixelsnap Charger’s charging side, which has a matte light grey pad and metal bezel, faces the back of the phone.
- If you’re using a case, be sure to use a Qi2 compatible case, like the Google Pixelsnap cases, or remove any non-supported cases.
- The built-in magnets will automatically align and attach to your Qi2 supported device securely.
- When properly attached, your device indicates that charging has begun.

- To detach the Pixelsnap Charger, gently remove the charger from the back of your device.

To hold your phone upright while charging, use the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand.
- Insert the Pixelsnap Charger into the Stand.
- The Pixelsnap Charger should fit securely and sit flush.
- When inserted, make sure that the Pixelsnap Charger’s charging side, which has a matte light grey pad and metal bezel, faces outward towards you.
- Connect the USB-C connector of the Pixelsnap Charger to your compatible USB-C power adapter.
- Plug your USB-C power adapter into a power outlet.
- Snap your compatible Pixel phone or a certified Qi2 device to the Stand.
- If you’re using a case, be sure to use a Qi2 compatible case or remove any non-supported cases.
- The built-in magnets will automatically align and attach your Qi2 device securely to the Stand.

How to use the Pixelsnap Ring Stand
Important: The Ring Stand is designed for hands-free viewing rather than as a grip.
The Pixelsnap Ring Stand enables hands-free viewing. You can magnetically attach it onto your Qi2-enabled Pixel 10 series device and use the ring to adjust your viewing angle.
Compatibility
Important: The Pixelsnap Ring Stand magnetically attaches to your device. To wirelessly charge your device, remove the Pixelsnap Ring Stand.
The Pixelsnap Ring Stand works with:
- Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold either folded or unfolded
- Cases made by Google, which include:
- Google Pixelsnap case for Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

It's normal for your Pixelsnap Charger to get a little warm while you charge your Pixel. The process of wirelessly transferring energy from the charger to your phone generates heat as a natural byproduct and may feel slightly warmer compared to wired charging.
If your charger feels too warm, try these steps:
- Remove the charger from your device.
- Take off any phone cases that aren’t Qi2 compatible, especially if they include metal or magnets.
- Do not place metallic or magnetic objects between the wireless charger and your device.
- Make sure your device software is up to date.

Yes, Apple MagSafe chargers are compatible with Pixel 10 series phones. However, if you use the 2020 Apple MagSafe charger, Pixel 10 series phones will charge slower, at 5W only.
If you use the Qi2-certified Apple MagSafe charger released in 2024, Pixel 10 series phones, including the Pixel 10 Pro XL, will charge at up to 15W.
