Help with suds: HTTP Error 401

Hi, I am trying to do a very simple thing with SUDS but I think I am missing the obvious (first time I use suds) I have small program that tries to open a wsdl. When I execute the program I am getting 'suds.transport.TransportError: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized' Seems obvious but I specify username and pwd in the code. when use IE to go the wsdl, I get a pop-up asking me for the username and pwd, I enter them, and the wsdl is displayed. This is my code: " from suds import WebFault from suds.client import Client from suds.transport.http import HttpAuthenticated t = HttpAuthenticated(username='admin', password='admin') client = Client('http://xxxx.xxx.xx.x:8080/axis2/services/UcmdbService? wsdl', transport=t) " I seems straightforward :( Any help much appreciated. daemon.DaemonContext and logging

I'm finally getting around to trying out the python-daemon module and have hit a wall. I'm trying to set up logging inside of the "with daemon.DaemonContext" block. i get : IOError: [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor when i have logging and using daemon.DaemonContext() i tried passing : fh = logging.handlers.TimedRotatingFileHandler(LOG_FILENAME, 'midnight', encoding='utf-8') with : context = daemon.DaemonContext() context.files_preserve=[fh] but no good what am i doing wrong?

Hello, is it that my know-how to use Google is insufficient or... ...does really noone use Python for industrial control applications? At least I didn't manage to find any publicly available modules for such things as OPC/fieldbus communication etc... TIA, best regards, Wolfgang Keller
