If you canβt connect to your Mac in Apple Vision Pro
Find out what to do if Mac Virtual Display on Apple Vision Pro isnβt working as expected.
If Mac Virtual Display isnβt working, try these tips
Make sure your Mac meets the system requirements. You can use Mac Virtual Display with any Mac that is running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. If you want to use a Wide or Ultrawide Mac Virtual Display screen, you need a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS Sequoia 15.2 or later, and your Apple Vision Pro needs visionOS 2.2 or later.
Update Apple Vision Pro and your Mac with the latest software updates. Learn how to find out which macOS your Mac is using, and find out how to update visionOS and update macOS.
Sign in to the same Apple Account on your Apple Vision Pro and on your Mac.
Turn on iCloud Keychain on both devices.
On your Mac, go to System Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Click See All next to Saved to iCloud. Click Passwords & Keychain, then make sure Sync this Mac is turned on.
On your Apple Vision Pro, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Tap See All next to Saved to iCloud. Tap Passwords & Keychain, then make sure Sync this Apple Vision Pro is turned on.
Turn on Wi-Fi on your Apple Vision Pro and on your Mac.
Turn on Bluetooth on your Apple Vision Pro and on your Mac.
Make sure youβre not using the Guest User feature on Apple Vision Pro. Mac Virtual Display doesnβt work in this mode.
Move closer to the Mac youβre trying to connect to.
Restart your Apple Vision Pro and your Mac.
If the Connect button doesnβt appear, use Control Centre
When youβre wearing Apple Vision Pro and you look at your Mac laptop, a Connect button should appear above your computer.
If you have a Mac desktop computer β or if the Connect button doesnβt appear above your Mac laptop β turn on Mac Virtual Display in Control Centre:

. If you canβt see it, tap the small to open the full Control Centre view, then tap the .Select your Mac from the list that appears.
Try connecting from your Mac
While wearing your Apple Vision Pro, open Control Centre on your Mac.
Click Screen Mirroring.
Click Extend to Apple Vision Pro.
