Get the Assistant on your JioPhone Next

You can find answers, translate, and listen with Google Assistant Go.

Assistant Go works with a variety of internet speeds. The app comes pre-installed on your JioPhone Next.

Check if you have the latest app version

1. On your phone, go to the Google Assistant Go page in the Play Store.
2. Tap Update. If you find "Installed," you already have the latest version.

Talk to your Google Assistant

1. On your phone, either:

• Touch and hold Home.
• Open Google Assistant Go.
• Tap icon on the home screen search bar.

2. Tap Speak .
3. Ask your question or say a command. For example, you can say “ Take a selfie”.

What you can ask

Take pictures, open apps, change your settings and get answers. For example:

• "Turn on Bluetooth"
• "Turn on WiFi"
• “Turn on the torch”
• "Take a selfie"
• "Open YouTube"

Using Readout on Google Assistant Go

1. On your phone, either:

• Touch and hold Home.

• Open Google Assistant Go.

2. Go to a web page that you would like to listen to.

3. Tap on the Recent option.

4. Tap Listen to listen to the text.

  Tip: You can also listen to translations.

Using Translate on Google Assistant Go

1. On your phone, either:

• Touch and hold Home.

• Open Google Assistant Go.

2. Go to a web page that you would like to translate.

3. Tap on the Recent option.

4. Select Translate to your language of choice in Go.

Open Google Assistant settings

1. On your phone, either:

• Tap on the  

• Touch and hold Home.

• Tap on your profile picture on the top right side to enter settings.

• Here you can also choose a primary language of your choice

2. Say "open Assistant settings", or on your phone, go to Settings Apps and notifications Google Assistant Go See all Assistant settings.

3. At the top, you’ll find popular settings.

   • To search for a specific setting: At the top, tap Search settings.
