I’ve been testing, reviewing and writing about all sorts of products for decades, with a particular expertise in consumer tech, fitness gear, pet products and smart kitchen appliances. I’m as likely to be making my own pizza dough for homemade Neapolitan pizza as I am to be using audio gear to record my own podcast. I am the author of nearly three dozen books about technology and photography, and I’ve authored an interactive storybook for kids. Prior to joining Forbes Vetted, I spent eight years at Microsoft where I helped to develop Windows Windows 7, and I contributed to many popular websites including CNET, Wired, PC World and Business Insider. After serving in the Air Force where I operated satellites and planned space launches, I have had a varied career as a tech journalist, wildlife photographer, scuba instructor and podcaster (including co-hosting the popular Battlestar Recaptica).
