After you create a capacity request, you can view the request to review the
details of your requested resources, or verify the request approval status.
Limitations
You can only view capacity requests that exist in your project.
Before you begin
If you can't access Capacity Planner in the Google Cloud console,
then your organization might not be eligible to access and use
Capacity Planner. To request access, you must contact your
assigned technical account manager (TAM) or the
sales team.
This predefined role contains
the permissions required to view capacity requests. To see the exact permissions that are
required, expand the Required permissions section:
Required permissions
The following permissions are required to view capacity requests:
To view a list of capacity requests in your project:
capacityplanner.capacityPlans.list
on the project
To view the details of a single capacity request:
capacityplanner.capacityPlans.get
on the project
To view the full details of a single capacity request, or review the usage
and forecast of the resources that you requested in your request,
view the details of a capacity request.
View a list of capacity requests
To view a list of capacity requests in your project, follow these steps:
In the Google Cloud console, go to the Capacity Planner page.
In the Name column, click the
arrow_right expander arrow next to the
capacity request that you want to view the details of.
To view the usage and forecast of a type of compute instance, disk, GPU, or
TPU that is specified in your capacity request, click the resource. A page
that shows the usage and forecast of the resource appears.

To see the exact permissions that are\nrequired, expand the **Required permissions** section:\n\n\nRequired permissions\n\nThe following permissions are required to view capacity requests:\n\n- To view a list of capacity requests in your project: ` capacityplanner.capacityPlans.list` on the project\n- To view the details of a single capacity request: ` capacityplanner.capacityPlans.get` on the project\n\n\nYou might also be able to get\nthese permissions\nwith [custom roles](/iam/docs/creating-custom-roles) or\nother [predefined roles](/iam/docs/roles-overview#predefined).\n\nView capacity requests\n\nTo view capacity requests, use one of the following methods:\n\n- To get an overview of all capacity requests in your project and their\n status, [view a list of capacity requests](#list).\n\n- To view the full details of a single capacity request, or review the usage\n and forecast of the resources that you requested in your request,\n [view the details of a capacity request](#describe).\n\nView a list of capacity requests\n\nTo view a list of capacity requests in your project, follow these steps:\n\n1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the **Capacity Planner** page.\n\n [Go to Capacity Planner](https://console.cloud.google.com/capacity/usage)\n2. Optional: To refine your list of capacity requests, in the\n filter_list **Filter** field, select the\n properties that you want to filter the requests by.\n\nView the details of a capacity request\n\nWhen you view the details of a single capacity request, you can only view usage\nand forecast for the following resources:\n\n- Compute Engine instances\n\n- Disks\n\n- GPUs\n\n- TPUs\n\nTo view the details of a single capacity request in your project, follow these\nsteps:\n\n1.
