Configure Development Application Settings

Included in this project are settings you can use for database development. Using the same set of settings across a team will helps ensure consistent development patterns.

SQL Server Management Studio

The settings are located in the project β€œ\SQL-Server-Assess\Development Application Settings\Microsoft\SQL Server Management Studio\General Settings”

  1. Cloned or forked the repo
  2. In SQL Server Management Studio navigate to β€œTools > Options > Environment > Import and Export Settings”
  3. Check β€œUse team settings file” and browse to β€œ..\SQL-Server-Assess\Development Application Settings\Microsoft\SQL Server Management Studio\General Settings\SSMS.vssettings”
  4. Click the β€œOK” button

Redgate SQL Server Prompt

The settings are located in the project β€œ\SQL-Server-Assess\Development Application Settings\Red Gate\SQL Prompt”
