@nfarabullini can you update the pr title to be a bit more descriptive? Second, how do we best sync this with #1182 and #1191? Do you need this data ASAP (in which case this PR has priority) or can it wait and we put the new data in the new new storage?

@nfarabullini is this still blocked by anything or did it just slip down the priority list? The pooch and object store PRs are merged already, so if the new data is there this should "just work".
