Data Scientist, Apple Pay Marketing

In todayâs fast-paced, data-centric marketplace, we are seeking a dedicated, curious, passionate, and results-oriented individual who excels in critical thinking and brings deep expertise in analyzing marketing data to join our Marketing Data Sciences team.
The Data Scientist will play a key role in enabling insights for marketing campaign performance. This individual will provide measurement and campaign optimization insights for Appleâs payment products to inform and shape marketing strategy and user experience. The successful candidate be a thought partner to the marketing team, will work closely with the collaborators to understand their goals and critical metrics, and then analyze data to provide actionable recommendations.

- Build data/model pipelines to automate recurring data pull and modeling processes.
- Conduct descriptive and causal inference analysis in large-scale data to identify key insights and opportunities.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance across marketing and advertising channels using sophisticated statistical and econometrics models.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leverage Tableau and Keynote to visualize insights and deliver results in business presentations and dashboards.
- Relevant background in Analytics and Data Science.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical skills in SQL and Python.
- Experience with Tableau to deliver actionable insights.
- Prior professional experience in financial products and services, marketing, advertising, or customer analytics
- Fluency with SQL queries in large and complex fragmented datasets and relational databases.
- Expertise in causal inference modeling and advanced statistical/ econometrics models, including regression and time series modeling.
- Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Marketing or similar
