If you canโt make or receive calls in FaceTime on Mac
If you have trouble making or receiving calls in FaceTime, see the suggestions below.
If you canโt call a specific person in FaceTime
You may need to choose a different way to call. When a personโs name is blue, they have an Apple Account and you can reach them directly using FaceTime. When a personโs name is green, you can click Invite with Messages to send them a text message with a link. When a personโs name is red, they canโt be reached using Messages. You should create and share a FaceTime link instead.
