Passkeys are the simplest and most secure way to sign in to your account. To sign in with just your fingerprint, face scan, or screen lock, create a passkey.

Block an email address in Gmail

If you get unwanted emails, you can block the sender in Gmail. After you block the sender, all future emails from them go to Spam.

Block a sender

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
  2. Open the message from the sender.
  3. At the top right, next to “Reply ,” tap More More and then Block "{sender}."

Unblock a sender

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
  2. Open the message from the sender.
  3. At the top right, next to “Reply ,” tap More More and then Unblock "{sender}."

Tip: If you can’t find the sender’s message, you may find it in Spam. To locate the sender’s message, at the top left, tap Menu and then Spam.
