While organizing my bookmarks, I reassigned some labels to them, but I noticed some old, blank labels remained and couldn't be deleted or modified. I also experience this on another device, but the number of blank labels is different. I suspect the issue is more likely with local content.

However hard I try I cannot prevent Microsoft Edge from being imposed as only choice for browser although I always want Mozilla Firefox. It always over-rides my attempts to change to Firefox

Hi Moneysavingexpert is a website that sends out emails with links for different sections of its website. I can only go to the main page, when I click other links in the email, or on the website main page, it just returns me to the main web page. I am not having issues with any other websites and I have turned some ad blockers in case it was them but I still have the problem. No one else has reported this problem on the website so I am guessing it must be something to do with my settings....

The user gets full access to the browser (except for access to passwords) when they click cancel password entry. Or close the modal password entry window.

Why is full access to websites and bookmarks granted? An outsider can easily access the browser where you are logged into your email, as well as gain access to your Firefox account management.

I really hoped that without entering a password, no open tabs would load and access to the entire browser would not be granted.

When the master password will actually start working?

I'm having issues using Firefox with the Facebook site. Groups are slow to load and sometimes the chat and notification windows take forever to load with shimmering panels or a wait cursor displayed. I've cleared the cache and deleted the cookie, but that didn't rectify the issue. I don't have a problem with Edge.

Earlier, when I opened Firefox it didn't restore the tabs and windows I had been using from about 2 weeks ago. I tried looking in "History" in the Firefox menu but it only displays tabs and windows that I've closed and it doesn't have the tabs and windows I had actually open.

I've had the same Firefox settings since I first installed Firefox a few years ago and this is the first time this has happened... :'( :'( :'(

I must have had about 70 Firefox windows and even more tabs within those windows so this really hurt me... :'( :'( :'(

Hi, I've been using the latest Firefox version on 2 MacBook Pros, and the bookmark favicons are lost when syncing to other devices. They remain on the host device, but are not transferred to the synced device. This is my first attempt at syncing anything in Firefox, so I don’t have any previous settings/files that could be interfering.

Also, “Tabs from other devices” in the Firefox View window lists all of the tabs grouped together, and there are hundreds in the list. How can they be grouped by window (the same way that they appear in the browser), and is there a way to have them sync directly in the windows (w/ fwd/back history in tact) so that each browser appears identically when switching from one device to another?

When I'm playing videos on Mozilla and close the lid on my MacBook and reopen it, the video resumes playing. Is there a way to make the video pause when i close the lid and the video remains paused, when reopened? Just so used to this feature and really wanna avoid any embarrassment in public.

While using Yahoo news comment editor to enter a comment: the screen will frequently reset with a flash and some of what I was typing will disappear and the cursor goes to default position.

I love using sidebar and all, but it's been about a year. Yet I can't reduce the window width on Windows after the window size reached a certain point. It's just capped at a certain minimum width size. Is there really no way to reduce the width further? As someone who used split screen or tiling window very often, this is driving me to frustation a bit because of the constant windows overlapping.

If I have taken photos in past years on a particular date, I get an email from Microsoft to review them. I normally do it on my phone, but today tried it from my computer. The path is "One Drive" "Photos" "Moments" and then "On This Day." If you click on the photos that in the graphic that looks like a movie strip, a montage of the photos shows up and you can also click on one. However, in Firefox, I click on a picture and the screen goes gray, but nothing ever loads. I thought it was a Microsoft issue so used their help function. The rep and I tried it, then cleared the cache, then tried it in a private setting. We got the same result every time. Then he tried it whatever Microsoft's browser is called and it worked just fine. They said it was a problem on the Mozilla Firefox end, so I'm reporting it. Please let me know if you can help me make it work. I don't like using anything except Firefox.

So, I've recently run into a problem with using tab groups... It goes as follows:-

Let's say i create a tab group, "x" and add some tabs. Now, I click on the little colored box saying "x", which compresses all the tabs, leaving only the little box, which when clicked, expands all the tabs within that group. BUT, if I compress the group, and now open a new tab, that is NOT in the group "x", but rather a separate tab, then the group "x" just disappears... It is STILL there(which can be proven by using a tab that creates some sort of sound, and then following what I described, and even after the group disappears, the sound still continues), but isn't accessible anymore. Now, I HAVE TO close my current, separate tab, to enter the now invisible tab group. BUT, even after I do enter a tab of the group, the group, along with its tab, remains invisible, still. I HAVE TO add a new tab to the group for it to show up. I've tried a lot of things but still haven't found a solution, so please help.

Updated to esr 128.14 Now Reddit (Redgifs) Hosting site for gifs crashes Firefox and cripples my PC. I've tried restarting in safe mode, then refreshing Firefox. Nothing is working. Reddit support just has an issue with the Gifs not playing, but nothing as extreme as what iam experiencing. I believe it may be something is preferences or a codec or something that was changed in the recent update. Any advice/ help would be great. Edit: OS is windows 10 latest updates Amd- Ryzen 7/32gig 3.20 ghz PC. So can handle a little bit of heavy browsing.. FF 128.14 esr Ext- Ublock Origin

Even with Addons disabled still occurs. Really at a loss here.

When I open Firefox or after a reset of Firefox, my tabs do not restore, and I have to start from scratch. I updated all my settings, and restoration does not happen. Please help.

my Mac's OS and browser versions are both up to date, and this started happening a day or two ago - when I rightclick on a link, a blue frame appears around the associated text, but in some instances the frame matched the colour of the hyperlink - is this to do with appearance settings in my machine, or is this another one of those uncalled for FF defaults, in order to disable which you have to spend a whole day trawling through forums?

I've found reports from years ago that this was a bug, which supposedly was fixed, so if no longer a bug, what is this.

firefox wont open previuosly closed tabs or window just opens new window only even though in setting its told to open previously closed tabs and windows id like that to be fix cause i certainly didnt change it and was working before did a update break it? because i did not make any changes
