@takluyver, thanks for the ping, there's a core developer meeting tomorrow, I'll ensure that this is raised. Seems like Numba's Py2.7 EOL statement may also need revisiting.

I can confirm this information is correct. Looks like we need to resolve a merge conflict, though.
