We’re ibericode, the small and fully remote team behind Mailchimp for WordPress, a plugin that helps WordPress site owners grow and manage their Mailchimp audience.

Danny started the plugin in 2013 while working as a freelance web developer. He kept rebuilding the same Mailchimp sign-up features for client sites, so he turned that work into one reliable WordPress plugin.

Since then, Mailchimp for WordPress has grown into a trusted plugin used on more than one million websites. We still work on it with the same goal: make Mailchimp integration simple, fast, and dependable.

Good software matters, but support matters too. We keep the plugin well documented, respond to questions carefully, and try to make every interaction clear and useful.

Meet the people behind ibericode.

Danny van Kooten

Founder & Developer

Danny started Mailchimp for WordPress in 2013 and still works on the plugin’s codebase, websites, documentation and marketing on a daily basis.

Outside work, he likes to spend time with his kids, ride his bike, bake pizza or walk his dog Koko.

Harish Chouhan

Support Engineer

Harish has been involved with the plugin since its first version in 2013. Today, he helps users solve issues and keeps our knowledge base clear and practical.

He ensures everyone receives a fast and efficient answer to any questions they may have.

Arne Lap

Support Engineer

Arne helps users get the plugin working well on their WordPress sites, from simple sign-up forms to advanced e-commerce integration at scale.

He divides his time between Thailand and the French countryside, where he is fixing up a cottage on a large plot of land.

Inge Janssen

Behind the scenes

While you won't be talking to her directly, Inge does a lot of behind the scenes work to keep everything running smoothly.

She handles much of the day-to-day administration and ensures everyone has what they need. Alongside her work with ibericode, she is also a primary school teacher.
