Can I use VA education benefits for co-op training?
You can use your VA education benefits for co-op training if youβre enrolled in an approved full-time co-op training program at an Institution of Higher Learning (IHL).

- Money paid directly to your school for tuition and fees

Will my school choose the employer for my co-op program?
Yes. Your school will determine an appropriate employer for the program youβre in. Your school will coordinate the details of your job with the employer.
How will I split my time between work and school?
Your school will work with your employer to determine your schedule. You may spend equal parts of each day in school and on the job. Or you may be in training for a full day, week, month, or termβthen work for an equal alternating period of time.
