To share collections with\nusers in your organization, you must turn on Private Marketplace.\n\nAfter you turn on Private Marketplace, your organization's private marketplace is\nthe default marketplace experience for your users. Google Cloud Private Marketplace shows all\napproved products to your users and restricts access to products that aren't in\nthe collections you've shared with them. Your users can still choose to navigate\nto and access the public marketplace.\n| **Note:** When you turn Private Marketplace on or off, it might take up to five minutes for this change to take effect.\n\nTurning on Private Marketplace affects all future deployments of Google Cloud Marketplace\nproducts in your organization, but it doesn't affect existing deployments.\nHowever, if existing deployments need to be redeployed, due to events such as\nautoscaling or load balancing in a cluster, those deployments might be disrupted\nif your users don't have access to the products that the\ndeployments use.\n\nBefore you begin\n----------------\n\n- Ensure that you have the [required Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles](/marketplace/docs/governance/private-marketplace#permissions).\n- [Create and publish a default collection](/marketplace/docs/governance/create-default-collection).\n- Optionally, [create](/marketplace/docs/governance/curate-collection#create) and [share](/marketplace/docs/governance/share-collection#share) additional collections.\n- Optionally, if you've turned on [strict user access restriction](/marketplace/docs/governance/strict-user-access), ensure that all of your organization's users and administrators who use your organization's marketplace have the necessary IAM roles and permissions for strict user access restriction. For more information, see [Required IAM roles](/marketplace/docs/governance/strict-user-access#permissions).\n\nTurn on Private Marketplace\n---------------------------\n\nYou can turn on Private Marketplace for an entire Google Cloud organization, or\nfor specific folders or projects within your organization.\n\n### Turn on Private Marketplace for all projects in your organization\n\nTo turn on Private Marketplace for all of the projects in your Google Cloud\norganization, complete the following steps:\n\n1. In Cloud Marketplace, click **Marketplace governance**.\n\n [Go to Marketplace](https://console.cloud.google.com/marketplace)\n2. Click **Governance settings**.\n\n3. Under *Private Marketplace* , click **Add**.\n\n4. Choose the *organization* resource hierarchy node, and then click **Select**.\n\n5. Click the *Enable Private Marketplace* toggle.\n\n### Turn on Private Marketplace for specific projects or folders\n\nTo turn on Private Marketplace for specific projects or folders within your\nGoogle Cloud organization, complete the following steps:\n\n1.
