Devices have support options for in-warranty and out-of-warranty damage. Options for mail-in and walk-in depend on your device, its warranty status, and your location.

Start your repair

- To start the repair process, go to Google Store Repair services.
- Important: You must be in a supported country or region.
- You'll need to sign into your Google Account.
- Select a device or enter your device's IMEI or serial number and make sure that it matches the device that you want repaired.
- Select all of the issues and symptoms that apply to your device.
- All damages, whether performance issues (in-warranty) or accidental damages (out-of-warranty) must be repaired. Make sure to select all damages. You'll be charged for any out-of-warranty repairs.
- Select Walk-in or Mail-in as your repair option.
- Walk-in service is only available in select countries. Repair options may vary.
- Follow the instructions to start a mail-in repair or learn more about the walk-in process.
Find your device identifier

Send your device for repair
Choose your preferred repair service. Walk-in service is only available for phones. Before you bring your phone in for repairs, back up data and remove the SIM card. For eligible Pixel phones, you may enter Repair Mode. Otherwise, factory reset your phone.
Back up dataOn your device, make sure to back up your information and remove identifiers:
- Pixel phone:
- Pixel Tablet: Back up your Pixel Tablet.
- Pixel Watch: Back up your Pixel Watch.
If needed, factory reset your device. This will delete all the information on your device. If you can't factory reset your device, sign out of your Google Account on the device.
- Pixel phone: Factory reset your Pixel phone.
- Pixel Tablet: Factory reset your Pixel Tablet.
- Pixel Watch: Factory reset your Pixel Watch.
If you can't factory reset your device before you bring it to a repair partner, they'll reset it for you.
Option 1: Take your device for walk-in repair
Important: Walk-in repair options are only available for phones in select countries and regions.
Step 1: Find the nearest authorized service provider- Before you bring in your device for repair, start a repair request.
- Select Walk-In.
- Enter your postal code.
- Select a repair location.
- For next steps, follow the on-screen instructions.
Tip:
- If you plan to take your device to a:
- Google retail store: Review the in-store repair Terms of Service.
- Google Authorized Repair Partner: Before you visit, we recommend that you contact them to confirm parts availability for your repair. Some partners recommend scheduling an appointment.
- Before you bring your phone in for repair, back up your data.
- Bring your device to your nearest repair partner.
- The repair partner:
- Checks your warranty status.
- Inspects your device for damage.
- Gives you the repair cost and estimated time to repair.
- Upon arrival, remove the SIM card and turn on Repair Mode (eligible devices only). If Repair Mode is unavailable, you must factory reset your phone.

Warranties and repair cost
- For devices and damages that are in warranty: There's no charge for repairs.
- For out-of-warranty devices and/or damages not covered by warranty: Prices may vary.
At the time of inspection, if damage is found that increases the repair cost, the partner will inform you. Repair will only start after you approve any new costs.
Once the repair is complete, the Authorized Repair Partner will inform you that your device is ready for pickup.
Option 2: Send your device for mail-in repair
Important: Mail-in repair is only available for select devices in select countries.
Step 1: Create a repair order & review repair cost- Start a repair request.
- Select Mail-In and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Enter your address and any other requested information.
- Important: Make sure that the address information is accurate. Once you submit the order, you canโt edit the address.
- To continue the repair process, confirm your mail-in details.
Warranties and repair costs:
- For devices and damages that are in warranty: There's no charge for the repair.
- For out-of-warranty devices and/or damages not covered by warranty: The estimated repair cost will be shown before you submit the repair order.
Important: Before you send your device, remember to turn on Repair Mode (eligible devices only). If Repair Mode is unavailable, you must factory reset your phone.
- Once shipping instructions and details are available, follow the steps in your email or on the repair details page.
- Paperless options may be available for mail-in repair in select countries.
- Pack your device carefully.
- Send it in for repair.
Tip (India only): You donโt need to print the shipping label or RMA slip. The courier partner will provide the required shipping labels and schedule a pickup.
Mail-in repair packaging information
Important: Packaging options and requirements may vary. You may be required to use prepaid packing for some repairs.
- Your own packaging:
- To keep your device secure and avoid damages in transit, pack your device carefully.
- Youโre responsible for any damage that might occur to your device in shipment.
- Prepaid packaging:
- Prepaid packaging contains padding to keep your device secure.
- Once you place your repair order, the prepaid packaging typically takes 1โ2 business days to arrive.
Get status updates
- Mail-in: Select Repairs at the top right of the Google Store repair history page.
- Walk-in: Contact the Authorized Repair Partner. In some cases, status updates will populate on the Google Store repair history page.
How to check your warranty status
- Pixel Phones, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Watch: To check your device warranty status and options, go to Your Devices.
- Important: You must be in a supported country or region.
- You must be signed in to your Google Account.
- Google Nest and Pixel Buds: Repairs aren't available for these devices. To check your device warranty status and options, go to Warranty Helper.
- Important: The Warranty Helper is currently available in English only.
- Fitbit: Repairs aren't available for these devices. To check your device warranty status and options, go to File a warranty claim for your Fitbit device.
- Samsung phones purchased on Fi:
